Over November and December we will be bringing you five enthralling Sunday evenings of storytelling and music as part of the Marbles & Ware Collective CHRISTMESS series of events, in The Imaginarium London, next to Borough Market.

As always, our nights will be based around a theme with a host of musicians, performers and storytellers joining us along the way.

THEMES:

Dreamweaving (19th November):

Are you awake? How do you know? The Embers Collective have stitched together a tapestry of words and music, with one foot planted firmly in reality, and the other stepping into the realms of beyond. Through world mythology, folklore and music, we will peer through the windows of the otherworld and delve into the depths of the unknown, unexpected and unpredictable. A collective of storytellers and musicians will share timeless tales from cultures all over the world, revelling in the mysterious unsettling nature of dreams.

Night of Mischief (26th November):

Join The Embers Collective for A Night of Mischief as they take you on a madcap, meandering adventure with words and music. With nothing but spellbinding sentences sculpted into stories and songs, interwoven with live multi-instrumental soundscapes, The Embers Collective will create entire worlds for you in which they celebrate our love of laughter, dancing and mischief. You will be swept along by their energy, lulled into tranquillity, transported by melody, thrown up to the heavens and even meet the D.E.V.I.L himself. You will experience a mixture of tales from around the globe, ancient and original. Each laced with that mischievous glint that makes an evening all the more fun. These are moulded together with songs and music, drawing you into the stories and having your heads bopping and toes tapping without realising.

Midwinter Tales (3rd, 10th, 17th December):

For thousands of years we have gathered together at this time of year, warming around a fire to mark the changing of the seasons. Whatever we think we are or where we come from, the need for this experience remains. So come warm yourself with The Embers Collective, for a delightful evening of midwinter tales and music. Be a part of the age old, global tradition of getting cosy with your friends, sharing songs, stories and maybe even enjoying a drink or two.

Love,

The Embers
